Description

The optical pigtail is a pre-prepared fiber in semi-proof secondary protection (900 µm), ending on one side by an optical connector.
It is used to end the optical cable in the optical switchboard, where the joining of the individual fibers can be done in two ways-welding or using mechanical optical couplings.
Serial pigtails are manufactured with a single-fiber fiber 09/125 µm or multimod fiber 50/125 µm and 62.5/125 µm with E2000, FC, LC, SC and ST, 1 and 2 meters in lengths.
