MikroTik CSS610-8P-2S+OUT, netPower Lite 8P

The outdoor PoE switch MikroTik netPower Lite 8P is an ideal solution for powering access points, IP cameras or microwave links in demanding outdoor conditions. This model features 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, all of which support PoE-out according to the IEEE 802.3af/at standard, eliminating the need for separate power adapters for each connected device.

The entire switch can be flexibly powered via 2x two-pin terminal block in the range 24-57 V DC. The device also supports the connection of an external 24V battery, thanks to which it can act as a backup power supply (UPS) for connected devices.

To ensure high-speed 10 gigabit connectivity to the backbone network, two SFP+ bays are available. Thanks to its robust construction and durable outdoor chassis, the switch is designed to withstand the elements without the need for an additional protective case.

The switch offers a total switching capacity of up to 56 Gbps (non-blocking) with a forwarding rate of up to 41.7 Mpps. Device management takes place through the light and intuitive web interface of the SwOS operating system, which offers all the basic functions for managing switching (Port-to-port forwarding, Broadcast storm control, VLAN filters, bandwidth limitation and others).

Thanks to the integrated UPS function with intelligent charge management, it is possible to connect an external battery and thus ensure the uninterrupted operation of connected devices in the event of a power failure. The switch can automatically switch between the external source and the battery, while protecting the battery against deep discharge. This makes the netPower Lite 8P an ideal solution for outdoor installations on masts, roofs or in remote locations. Installation is possible directly on the wall or on the pole using the tightening straps that are included in the package. The device is fully operable in the extreme temperature range -40 to +70 °C and meets high demands for outdoor use.
