Description
Think your corporate network is secure because you have a top-notch firewall and strong passwords? By its very nature, wireless connections do not respect the physical walls of a building and these days often represent the weakest link in corporate security. Common IT audits stop at software vulnerabilities, but we analyze the physical space and radio waves themselves.
This specialized security audit is designed to uncover critical cracks in your wireless infrastructure before an attacker exploits them. You will get detailed insight into the real resistance of your network to modern cyber threats.
What we check in a security audit
During the audit, we combine physical measurements in the location with the simulation of real hacker attacks. We focus on these 5 key areas:
Analysis of signal overlap: We precisely map the spread of your Wi-Fi signal. We check if your network is radiating outside the guarded perimeter (e.g. into public parking lots or into the street), which would provide attackers with a comfortable and anonymous space for intrusion attempts.
Authentication Strength: Login method is the cornerstone of security. We will check whether your authentication model (e.g. 802.1X, WPA3) corresponds to modern enterprise standards and whether it can realistically withstand current password cracking and eavesdropping methods.
Network Segmentation and Client Isolation: Secure Wi-Fi must not operate as"one big room". We test the logical separation (VLAN) of individual parts of the network and client isolation. The goal is to ensure that any infected visitor's device does not gain access to your sensitive company data.
Rogue AP Detection: The radio medium is shared. We perform deep spectrum inspection to uncover hidden and unauthorized access points that employees may have brought from home, or that an attacker may have introduced into the infrastructure as a backdoor.
Simulation of Advanced Attacks (Social Engineering &WIPS): Technology is only as strong as its weakest link. We conduct a controlled simulation of an Evil Twin attack (a fake access point posing as your corporate network). This will test not only the vigilance of your users, but also the reaction capabilities of your security monitoring (WIPS/WIDS).
What is the content of the output and what you get
The result of the audit is a comprehensive security report that serves as a demonstrable basis for auditors (e.g. within the framework of the NIS2 directive) and as a clear manual for your IT department. You will get:
Vulnerability Maps: Visual evidence of how far your signal reaches and where potential attack sites are.
Categorization of detected threats:A clear list of detected vulnerabilities (e.g. Rogue AP, weak encryption) sorted by degree of criticality.
Remedial Action Plan: Specific technology recommendations and suggestions for reconfiguring your controllers to close identified cracks immediately.
