UBNT LTU Extreme-Range, 5 GHz

Ubnt Ltu Extreme-Range (LTU-XR) is a PTMP client unit for 5GHz with an antenna gain 29 dBi and proprietary wireless LTU technology TCP/IP speeds of 550 Mbps+, future FW is expected to increase speed up to 1 Gbps+, modulation up to 1024 QAM. In addition, the unit is equipped with Bluetooth to manage and set up using the UISP application.

Compatibility:

LTU is a brand new platform based on proprietary technology that does not use the 802.11 protocol. It is not so compatible with Airmax M5 or Airmax 5AC devices. On the other hand, although LTU is based on the technology used by Airfiber products, they use different protocols for communication and LTU products are not compatible with AF-5X or AF-5/5U products. LTU technology allows you to use different frequencies for transmission (TX) and reception (RX) to prevent interference and increase the transfer speed.
