Description

Ubnt Airfiber 5 High-Band (AF-5U) is a very advanced backbone connection in the 5 GHz band. With advanced HDD, Extended Range technologies and 1024 QAM modulation, they communicate at the speed of to 1.2+ Gbps .

The connection is operated in a free band of 5 GHz and so you do not have to pay any license fees for its operation. In addition to standard TDD and FDD Airfiber support came up with the new HDD (HDD Division Duplexing) technology. The Airfiber 5 also brings new XRT (Extended Range Technology) technology to allow the maximum range of 100+ km . This, along with other innovative technologies and Airos F , forms a unique joint that is very easy to operate and installation, which achieves very high transfer rates at very low latencies.

The new Airfiber 5U also offers visual signaling of the status of the unit. The LEDs displays the states of the RJ 45 ports, GPS synchronization, current modulation and, among other things, the strength of the signal of both sides of the joint. There is also a signal of overloading the radio part. The signal strength is displayed by two segment displays. You will appreciate them especially when focusing long distances.
