Description

Ericsson MINI-LINK 6355 is a top new generation microwave link designed for high-capacity E-band links in the 80 GHz band.

Thanks to the integrated 87Gbps switch, support for 25GE interface and capacity of up to 10 Gbps (1+0) or 20 Gbps (2+0), it represents an ideal solution for backbone lines, 5G backhaul, FWA, aggregation of POP nodes, corporate connectivity or replacement of optics where it is not physically available.

MINI-LINK 6355 and 6356 from Ericsson push the limits-thanks to power of up to +26 dBm (for version 6356) and +24 dBm (for version 6355), they can extend the range of E-band connections compared to conventional solutions.

The device is completely all-outdoor and can aggregate traffic and pass it over a single high-capacity link to a higher network level. Thanks to advanced packet processing, QoS and low latency, it provides absolute stability and consistency of transmission-even in demanding SLA environments.

The combination with the Multi-band Booster configuration makes it possible to extend the effective range up to three times – lower frequencies ensure a reliable connection even in bad weather, while E-band adds high capacity under ideal conditions. In addition, the Radio Deep Sleep function allows the radio units to be turned off completely when maximum capacity is not needed. This reduces the power consumption of the E-band node by up to 50 %.
