Cambium Networks introduces GPON/XGSPON solution

As a direct distributor of Cambium Networks, we are pleased to announce that the world's leading manufacturer of network elements has announced a major expansion of its product portfolio with a completely new segment - GPON technology.

The entire solution is designed as a modern ComboPON (a combination of GPON and XGSPON), where robust OLTs with 8 and 16 ports supporting both standards simultaneously are offered - thanks to this, a smooth transition to 10 Gbps capacity is possible without the need to replace backbone elements. In contrast, indoor optical terminals (ONTs) and unique PoE-powered outdoor ONTs are available in two variants (GPON or XGSPON) - opening up numerous options for flexible and cost-effective deployments. The entire system is managed via cnMaestro X. This comprehensive management platform for all Cambium elements provides a simple and graphically friendly interface for configuring and monitoring the entire network - whether wireless or optical.
